Newbie here. I'll be posting pics soon and hoping to get some advice on a regiment.

My hair loss started in 2005. Pretty much just temporal loss first noticed by a hairdresser. I was on the antidepressant Cymbalta at the time and it caused dandruff (which I never had in my life) and shedding. There doesn't seem to be much balding in my family, and certainly not at this age. I have 2 uncles on my Dad's side with thinning hair/receding hair lines, but it started for them in their 40s and they are a far cry from being noticeably bald. I got off the Cymbalta and the shedding stopped. I tried it again and, sure enough, dandruff and hair loss came back. Been off it almost 3 months and no more dandruff, but still shedding.

I use Nioxin, Nizoral, and started Revivogen 3 weeks ago.

I am not noticeably losing hair if you ask anyone else, but it's undoubtable that my hairline has receded. In my opinion I shed more than normal amounts of hair. Everytime I comb my fingers through my hair a few hairs are between my fingers. My hairline has definitely receded, especially on the temples. I'm probably a Norwood 2. No crown loss, however. I have wavy hair that cowlicks on the left side so it makes it look like the left temple is really losing it.

Anyway, my main thing is itching. Like I said I use over-the-counter Nizoral. No dandruff or flaking, but my hairline itches all across the front and also halfway up my scalp. It's not constant itching, but it just seems unnatural. Is this normal? Does this mean I'm going to keep losing hair where the itching is? A few years ago before the temporal loss started I was really itching in those areas, and now they're completely bald.
