Hello everyone!

I would just liek to say how fantastic and helpful I have found this commity, congratulations for the excelent work.

just a quick question about itching.

When you refer to usual itching inherent to male pattern baldness, how intense is it?

Is it a very occasional mild itch, or is it something more intense?

i never itch just sitting around doing nothing. but if i play sports or something and get sweaty, or go running, that's when i start to itch. Its not super intense, but enough that its annoying if i don't scratch it. I'm not sure how everyone else here is, this has never really been brought up :)

not really sure, i always kinda remember that kind of itching but then again maybe i was losing my hair very slowly, or maybe its just random that that itch comes. I can't attest to other peoples itching, but many complain of "crazy" itch that drives them insane. i never had this really.

Yeah, that's what I thought Trent8. Most itiching related to Hairloss is quite itense, other then that, it's normal for the scalp to itch a bit.

the itching varies greatly from person to person from a really intense itch to no itch what-so-ever....I never had an itch in 10 years of hairloss. Only within the last few months have I experienced any itching and it has been mild.
One thing I noticed about it though is the more you scratch the worse the itch gets (for me anyway).

Is itchiness also seen in other kinds of hair loss other than Male Pattern Baldness. For example, telogen effluvium.
