hey, i've been on propecia for about 6+ months... when i started, i shed like a b**ch.. lost lots of hair... but also at this time, i went through a terrible itch, that i couldnt stop even with nizoral/folligen.... well, after a few months, the itch went away.. and my hair stopped falling out..

however, now the itch has returned... and my hair is shedding again... you guys have any advice what i could do to stop it??? limit minoxidil to once a day??? try using spironolactone?? please help .. thanks

Hey jfrank, i can recall your first desperate postings a couple of months ago.. Good for you that the hairloss has slowed down ever since.. How about the hairline? Is it receeding as fast as before?
You've probably entered another shedding cycle. There's nothing you can do, except for stop worrying about it. I don't think the itch is completely related to hairloss. Sometimes i have a terrible itch while not losing that much hair, other times my scalp feels healthy while losing tons of hairs. Maybe you should cut on your Nizoral usage. It has helped in my case.

actually my hairline hasnt receded at all or that much since my initial shed... However, what is worse is my diffuse thinning all over my scalp.. you can see my scalp on a lot of locations and that is what is worrying me, cause it just seems to be gettting worse... i just dont have the density of hair i used to have last fall...

well, you think i should use it every third day instead of every other day? I have been rotating nizoral with t-sal and t-gel...
