We know androgens cause hairloss. There are cases of twins where one was castrated and one was not. One went bald and one did not. So all androgens play a role in hairloss. DHT is the strongest as we all know but testosterone, and many others all do cause hairloss to some degree. So finasteride raises testosterone so really hairloss should keep going at a slower pace. Why have we not made a treatment that lowers all androgens instead of constantly talking about dht?
