Hi all,
I have trichodynia (burning scalp) for 6 months now. It is definitely based on my huge anxiety-depression and doesn't seem to get better without the use of anti-anxiety drugs. Lots of hair are shedding of course, especially when the pain is at its peak.
I just wanted to ask if someone knew a treatment, other than anti-depressants/anti-anxiety drugs. Trichodynia seems to be a symptom of telogen effluvium in my case, since I faced a really stressful situation a few months before it started to happen.
Also, does anybody know if the hair will grow back after trichodynia is gone?
