Is transplant going to work for me?

Recently I am having extremely oily scalp and hair are shedding despite the use of propecia, in fact, I have just stopped using finasteride because of the side.

My question is,
(1) Is transplant going to work on oily scalp? since the hair are transplanted into an oily area of the scalp, if the skin continues to be oily, wouldnt the new hair fall out also?

(2) Is transplant going to work without the use of propecia in post-op? since almost all doctor recommend finasteride post-op, but i m considering transplant because i dont wnt to get on medication anymore.

1) Yes it will work.
2) Yes it (transplanted hair) will still grow but its still important to use meds or you will continue to lose your original hair.

Dod you try taking it every other day or every third day? That might help with the side-effects and still give you the medicinal benefit.
