Hello,
New member here, so go easy
.
Just some basic background info. My dad has gone bald from the crown and from the front. He is not totally bald, but it is very noticeable. His dad however never went bald and died with a full head of hair.
My hair has always been very thick and bushy, and doesn't seem to be like my dads. I have pretty much no frontal recession, and it might have moved back less than half an inch in 15 years. I am currently 27.
However, I have noticed that I seem to have a fairly noticeable crown, particularly under strong light. My hair is fairly short (about 2 - 3cm on top and 0.5cm on the sides), so under certain light and from the right direction you can see my scalp. However, my crown seems a lot more revealing.
I am hoping that this is actually just caused by the way the hair spirals out of the crown as opposed to the start of male pattern baldness, although with my dads genes, I can't be so sure.
So, what do you guys think?
