Hey all,
I've been applying minoxidil to the front of my hairline for the last 6 months or so. The area where I've applied it primarily has thinned massively since I started. I thought this kind of shed only lasted 3 months or so but I'm 6 months in and its getting continually worse. Before I started minoxidil I was on finasteride for 6 months and was stable if not improved.
Photos linked, the first was about a month into minoxidil. The last is 6 months in.http://imgur.com/a/kz1q1

Maybe it's an allergic reaction. Try the foam. Try Finasteride too.

On finasteride for about a year now. Seemed to be working well pre minoxidil. Just seems an unnaturally large shed but scared to stop as sheds are supposed to be good

You ever seen someone shed this bad or do think an allergy would do it? Doesn't itch and no great inflammation, just hair thinning. Will stick it out for another 4 months or so and update.
