Is this receeding or diffuse?

Hi guys
My hair is curly and (was) extremely thick and dense, its still very sharp when i touch it go trough with my fingers.
Two different barbers commented my hair in last two months as good and thick but i dont think so since i see its getting thiner over time. It looks like to me i still dont have loss on top and vertex, but my hair is a bit strange with those gaps between, almost like small dreadlocks.
What do you think?

looks like diffuse from those pictures, but I don't know what it used to look like.

have any friends/family commented that your thickness has changed?

No, noone did.
But, friend and family are attached so even if they notice, they probably wont tell.
