is this normal?

asside from the shedding heavily in the male pattern baldness prone areas is it normal to shed ALOT from the back of your head? i dont mean the top back i mean the back where the follicles are immune to DHT? lately iv been noticing if i run my hands thru my hair i get like 5-6 hairs each time and this is only running my hands through the back of my head....wtf i thought the back was immune to male pattern baldness

there is a general thinning all over, check out nw7 men, they are pretty thin on the sides as well

that's the worst kinda, where you become a giant forehead, widthwise too... that's what I've got going on.... think homer simpson.. sucks... and stop running your hands through your hair..

Have you been to the doctor and got some bloodwork done? If you are thinning all over your head you might have some other health problem than male pattern baldness.

I can relate to what you are experiencing. I lose hair all over including bottom and lower back and bottom and lower sides including side burns.

It is likely however if your thinning is more prominent in male pattern baldness prone areas that you are just experiencing global shedding and that is unlikely a health issue however get your tests done anyway.

no havent got any blood work done im pretty sure its male pattern baldness as im diffuse thinning on top.. but not enough so anyone can tell even on damp hair yet. have been on minoxidil for 3 days so far and propecia for about 3 weeks ( the shedding still hasnt stopped wtf i thought Propecia was suppose to stop it). first time i put in the rogain foam BOOM like 30 -40 hairs fell out all at once but since then dont shed while putting the stuff on. just the usual in the shower and comb

im not really shedding from the sides, just the back and the male pattern baldness areas. im paranoid that it might be diffuse unpatterned alopecia in wich u shed the permanant zones too. or is it normal to shed globally on the onset of male pattern baldness?
