I've attached a photo of two hairs that fell out after running my hand through my hair. These hairs both come from the same location on my head as far as I know, which is somewhere that doesn't appear to be thinning at all. The area is very full and thick. However, one hair is much thinner in width and lighter colored and the other is dark and coarse. They are both rather long, and I've seen very long hairs (over 8inches in length) before that are of a similar width and color to the thinner of the two hairs pictured. I was of the impression that miniaturized hairs don't grow this long?
Is the thinner hair miniaturizing? Is it possible that my hairs naturally come in different shades and widths? My facial hair does come in white, black, brown, and blonde so is it possible that I have natural highlights? My arm hair is this way as well. Are natural highlights made up of thinner diameter hairs?
