Is This Just A Cowlick Or Am I Balding?

I just took a look at the top of my head for the first time since I can remember and am worried at what I see. I remember other kids telling me about a spot on my head when I was like 9 or something that my mom said was a cowlick but I’m still nervous as hell. First time on the site so if I’m posting in the wrong place I apologize.

My dad is bald on top of his head, not sure about his dad, but my mothers dad had thick head of hair.
