Hi guys, since i was 14 i started pulling my hair being afraid that i may have hair loss. Usually i can go on and on for as long as an hour, counting every hair and increasing my anxiety. I went to a dermatologist, checked my hair and told i had nothing wrong, and that my scalp was just a bit oily. My levels of anxiety are over the top and i heave anxiety attacks. I pull my hair especially on the temple where i think i might have recession.
When i look close where my hair is missing i can see little hair growing and i wanted to know if you think these are miniaturized hair or new hair growing back.
Forgot to mention that hair loss in my family isn't really running. My dad is 50 and has a full head of hair (he s hair structure is very similar to mine) he's father died whit a full head of hair (60) my mom's Dad died aswell whit almost a full head of hair (85).
Thank you in advance.

Looks very minor. If a dermatologist looked in person I would just go with his opinion, and just watch it every year or so if it gets worse.
I have always that bad male pattern baldness itch, and I always scratch my scalp a lot where it itches. Done that many years, and from everything I have ever seen you cant damage your hair by pulling it out or scratching your head. A normal hair the root is strong, and it always grows back. Kind of like seinfeld where kramer pulls out his chest hair, and it comes back more full.
Its only male pattern baldness where your hair doesnt grow back.
