ok so i have folliculitis and have bumps around my head that are not visable to the naked eye you just feel it with your fingers

anyways yesterday i seen dead skin on my scalp and i was picking at it now i have a dent going deep like my scalp has a mini hole now is this even possible?
or could it be the bumps that i have make it seem that way since my scalp pretty much goes up and down because of the bumps
