Hi, I am 22,

Recently noticed that my hairline at top is not like a line, but V shaped.

Is this balding?

I checked pics from 2015-2018 and it looks basically the same... I got straight like when I was 10, since then its v shaped,

Also I barely have any hair loss at pillows and really cant see anythig in shower.

Thank you, because I am freaking out and buying expensive shampoos already

Also to add, I have been malnutritied for the past 1 year, was sleeping 3 hours a day and dealing with severe depressions, currently going back to normal as have been dealing with suicide thoughts, lost dream job and been stressed every single minute of my life# could this be related? I dont know if this is the hair loss, but if yes? Is it permanent?

You seem to have thinning in the frontal area, not just at the hairline so I am afraid to say that yes you more than likely have male pattern baldness

Actually my hair is pretty thick its only when I apply some cheap product and leave it there overnight and I got rained etc it appeara to be thinner,
But usually my hair is really thick all around the place, no shedding whatsoever noticed...maybe like 5 small hairs in the shower and nothing in the pillow except very few little one...i checked the photos from years ago and my hairline is still the same...so I was just Wondering...if its just genes or iam actually losing...here are some new pics

Gradution 5 years ago - profi pic with short hair, you can see basicly same hairline I suppose kinda V shaped, then the selfie with long hair from this week and slicked back shaved from two years ago...

What do you guys think?

Most of guys here have lost control so they would take no time to discourage you by saying you are balding. I have searched and studied many aspects of male pattern baldness in last year . I think it is natural to have thin hair at front.you are not balding. Best luck. Your looks are good. I wish I had same looks. Best luck and don't think about it all the day along.

Oh could definitely have been a bad angle your hair looks great in those pics. What retards like Tommybommy/Mandar don't realise is that most men actually have male pattern baldness. Any miniaturisation through the action of DHT on a males head occurs because they have a predetermined genetic code that dictates they will lose their hair in x pattern and at y speed. Any kind of recession, be it a 'mature' hairline or a full blown NW7, is a result of the same underlying process. It is not surprising that most men with a 'mature hairline' or a "don't worry about it bro its normal bro" hairline in their 20's/30's, will almost certainly go on to lose more hair at the hairline throughout their life. The idea that its this start/stop process, although effectively real in some weird cases, is generally not true. So with that I would say, your hair looks great however it is clear you have the male pattern baldness genes like roughly 70% of all other men. Keep an eye on it, if it gets worse, come back for more advice or do more research.

Your hair looks awesome, if it stayed like that for the rest of your life you would have nothing to worry about it. I am not saying it is bad, don't get me wrong, my hairline is very similar however it took me many years to accept that I had the male pattern baldness gene and that my hairline was slowly receding.

Thank you guys you calmed me down because I was already looking at the price for hair surgery haha .

I am just using the shampoo with vitamins and stuff now and eating living healthy lifestyle, trying to avoid stress.

Hopefully it will stay like this forever
So no need to take any drugs or medicine at this point right?

I think you should see a dermatologist and get prescribed some sort of treatment...you seem to be thinning...rather be proactive then wait till it's to far gone...

And depression here we go again, haha.
I'm not sure 100%....but I think if you had the thought to question it you may want to at least go and get checked by a good derm....you have great hair that no one would say your balding...but its best to be realistic and handle it before it may progress....at least that way you know you've done your best to be proactive in combating it....you hair does look great and pretty thick...

Also I don't know why your thinking of transplant...your hair is awesome and would only be In the very EARLY stages.....don't be depressed bruh, it's something most men probably 80% will have to deal with in there life....you'll be ok

What is your family history of hairloss? If you have truly maintained that hair for 5 years then I think you have nothing to worry about at the moment but I would keep an eye on it.
