Is This Balding Of The Crown Or Just The Way My Hair Goes?

My hair has its good days and bad days lol, i had a haircut about 2 days ago so that might be why its so flat
My hairline is still going strong so thats why i was so confused ahaha, would you deffo say its a mature crown then?
I am joking, lol. It's hard to tell from one pic.
This is a photo with no lighting, tbf i dont really know what kind of photos to take lol

Hm... Probably thinning, but not aggressive.
You caught it early, therefore 1.25 mg (or even 0.6 mg.) of cheap generic finasteride daily should help you.

I am thinking you and I may have SLIGHT similarities. But I wouldn't know, maybe the more experienced folks here can help me out.

This was taken1 Oct 2017, with my hair about an inch long at the top and sides and back buzzed but growing back (first photo taken under direct bright light, 2nd in normal conditions): https://imgur.com/a/ptK6l
I'm still observing my crown and trying to determine if it is balding and if it is, how aggressive it is before I jump into using finasteride. My hairline is perfectly fine though, didn't really notice any thinning at the temples.
