is this a rare case?

I been on the big 3 for a year now and have had some success but not what I expected. I have new growth in the front, actually its filling in nicely but nothing or very little on the crown area. Why do you think that is, do you think it will just take more time for the crown area or is it just not going to respond in that area? Sometimes I think I am a good responder and other times I think not. I don't know.

Sounds like me. I've had amazing success with the front half of my head, but the bald spot on the crown was the last to respond well. I can say after almost 5 years of minoxidil and 1 year of finasteride it's starting to fill in nicely, although it's doubtful it will totally recover as it's been bare for many years. Hang in there, there's definitley hope!
