To those that have had success with finasteride, nizoral and other treatments, what signs did you see beofre your hair got better? Ive been on finasteride and nizoral for months and I see very fine dark fuzz all over the place a whole inch down from the front hairline all over the temples and more seem to be sprouting. The yfeel like slight stubble. Just wondering if I can expect these to turn thicker, grow length, and become terminal. Im pretty sure these hairs were NOT on the hairline before I started treatment.

Are you on minoxidil at all? If this is what you are experiencing already.......add some minoxidil and watch it grow.

nope im not on minoxidil at all. finasteride, nizoral, flax seed, and multi-vitamins. Damn, you can't grow a decent amount back without minoxidil? I wanted to avoid anything topical.

nope im not on minoxidil at all. finasteride, nizoral, flax seed, and multi-vitamins. Damn, you can't grow a decent amount back without minoxidil? I wanted to avoid anything topical.

I would try 5% xandrox twice a day, if I were you. Once in the morning and once at night. I have noticed that the 5% xandrox does not make my hair greasy and it actually allows me to style my hair more efficiently. You should try it. Shouldn't hurt. It should allow you to grow more and quicker too.

The stubble aka "fuzz" is a very good sign! Also, in time look for some pigmentation of your vellus hair.
