Thank you!Looks fine
How’s the hairlineThank you!
I do. However the ones I took are when my hair is drenched, and under some direct light. Also my hair sticks together when it is wet.Do you have wet pictures of your crown? I can't accurately assess the difference between crown thinning and a cowlick unless you have those.
Also here is one more, with only the flash and slightly drier hair.Do you have wet pictures of your crown? I can't accurately assess the difference between crown thinning and a cowlick unless you have those.

I just drenched my hair, and it is u dear direct light. I am asian if that means anything? My hair is slightly curly on the ends so pieces stick together if thet means anything. Are you sure I am beginning to thinYour hairline looks good. Your crown, on the other hand, looks like it may be in the early stages of thinning. A cowlick would look more like a straight wedge or two at a certain section of the hair, while yours looks like a bunch of intertwined wedges surrounding the crown area. I'd recommend minoxidil 5% if that area is really bothering you, along with using Nizoral or another ketoconozale-based shampoo a few times a week. I'd get hold of finasteride; however I wouldn't start it unless your crown loss started to become more aggressive (not the minoxidil shed though). For comparison, I'll post what my crown region looks like wet (I have a cowlick with no thinning there):

Should I check to see if it feels thinner then it is dry or is it ok if it is slightly wet.Asians tend to have more prominent crowns. Does your hair in that region feel noticeably and significantly thinner compared to the back of your head or your sides? If not, then I'd just monitor it and conclude no thinning there so far.

Right now my hair is damp, and to be honest there isn’t much difference. My hair on the back near my crown is just shorter so it feels shorter, than the front. I don’t think it is any thinner. I am just paranoid becuase 6 months ago I got a perm just for fun with my friends (don’t judge), well the ends of my hair is slightly curly still so it sticks together to make big curls when wet.Asians tend to have more prominent crowns. My hair sticks together to form curls at the ends, and the end is shorter.Either should work just fine.
I also have another question, is the hair near the scalp suppose to be clumped together and looking thinner? In other words, does my hair density near the scalp seem ok?I use tinted moisturizer. I won't judge. If you really can't feel any difference in thickness between the crown and the back and sides of your head, then it's safe to say you're probably not thinning there.
Lol, that's normal. Honestly, I'd just monitor it every 3 months. Take pictures of that region wet, dry, and in good and consistent lighting. If you see a noticeable difference, only then should you get on meds.My hair sticks together to form curls at the ends, and the end is shorter.

Thank you so much honestly. I’ve been parnoid ever since the perm becuase I’ve noticed 10-20 hairloss in the shower and when I run my hands through, probably becuase my hair gets tangled and it is Dry. I will keep checking if there is any more thinning, but it’s been 6 months since my perm so I don’t think there is any chemical damage. That's called a part. It looks fine. When hair is wet, it tends to clump a bit.
