Is this a common side effect?

Fierce acne on my back! WTF? Anyone else this happened to? Is this a result of the initial "hyperandrocity"? How long will this crap last?

I have.

People often complain of acne on finasteride. People also complain of dry skin.

Now most of this is probably paranoia, but acne seems to be reported frequently enough (very) to be a genuine side effect

Anything that increases testosterone has the potential for such an effect. Although, depending on the dosage, finasteride can also increase estrogen, which might help even acne side-effect out. However, I'm not sure if this is something most guys like hearing. :lol:
