Is there a link between side effects and effectiveness of Propecia?

After reading many stories and experiences of different users, I have seen many who have had no results with Propecia, but also no side effects at all.

And on the other corner, the guys who had Side effects, but also noticed a great improvement of their hair, and saying "Propecia was great for my hair, it totally stopped my hairloss and filled my thinning areas in, but it killed my sex drive, my erections and made my skin dry. So I had to quit"

Any opinions?

Who had GREAT results and no side effects at all? (more than 1 year of use)

VWDude would be one of the only members who still updated us and he seems to be getting results without any sides.

There's no way we will get to the bottom of this. It's just too open to change - everyone responds differently and there is too small a cross-section of finasteride users here to get any accurate conclusion. You know this im sure.

I actually remember someone posting that "the people who didn't get strong side effects seemed to be the best finasteride responders compared to people who got sides" or something along those lines.
