Is The The "x Chromosome" Really The Most Influential Hair Loss Gene?

So yeah. I have read on many many websites that the most influential hair loss gene is on the X Chromosome though it can come from both sides but the X chromosome is important.

There are unfortunately hundreds of genes related to hair loss. Most may be X but others are Y.
