I've been taking oral finasteride for about 3 years. Recently I've wanted to experiment leaning more towards topical finasteride while supplementing oral finasteride at a lower dose to combat sides.
Given my prior experience with oral finasteride, would it be normal to still experience a shed after starting topical finasteride?
I just started using minoxidil max's MAXOGEN while taking the same amount of oral finasteride as I did before that was causing maintence, and I'm going through a nasty shed, this is the only thing that has changed in my regimen.
I feel like there is some consensus that every time you start a new type of invasive treatment, oral or topical, that some type of shed will ocur.
Could anybody provide some input or reassurance for me?
