Is RU58841 safe for people experiencing severe side effects from finasteride?

Hello,
I'm considering using RU58841 lately because I have experienced severe side effects from finasteride 0.5mg/day just 3 weeks (extreme fatigue; bad sleep quality; somewhat lowered libido). I heard that people getting side effects from finasteride tend to get side effects from RU58841 also. Do you think that RU58841 is worth a try?

Additional information: 22 y.o., Norwood 1.5 but crown is thinning.

I would say the erection was 10%~20% weaker but it is functioning. However the extreme fatigue and bad sleep was so horrible that I have to stop.

Any erection problems? These side effects you listed will more than likely pass. It seems like erectile dysfunction is the side that sticks with the guys who get it

I use RU58841 cause I got too many sides on finasteride and RU is not as bad for me. If you go easy on it it's possible to use with no sides at all.

finasteride and RU are simply two different ways of blocking androgen activity.. in theory, they are kind of doing the same thing. One is binding the AR, so other androgens can't bind, and one is reducing androgens, so they are less likely to bind to the AR. So, is it possible to get sides? yes, if it goes systemic. The advantage people see with RU only comes with the assumption that the compound doesn't enter the circulatory system. Who the hell really knows if it does or not. Some are keen on insisting it does not, however, you are putting it on your scalp, and the underlying dermis is rich in capillaries that, guess what? - are connected to the rest of your circulatory system. but IDK... I have been on it only 3 weeks and feel a hell of a lot better than I did on finasteride, but that's my personal physiology.

Thank you. I guess I should try to start RU-58841 from a lower dose (probably 2.5% 1mL/day).

How does anyone know if RU goes systemic? I mean no one ever studied it. Its just a bunch of people trying to guess. I guess someone could get a before/after hormone panel but I dont know anyone that did that. Shutting down receptors all over your body isnt anymore safe than blowing up your endocrine system with propecia. Both are risky

Pretty much any topical is going to go systemic to some extent. Thousands of people have used it over the years and plenty of them report anti-androgen side effects.
