Is regrowth at SIDE temples even possible??

I mean regrowth which is shown on this pictures in yellow circle. On successful pictures, we usualy see regrowth which is shown in red box, but in fact it is temple which is above or near hairline, in fact it is part of the hairline.

However, I have never seen regrowth which I point out in yellow circle, because hairs are also missing at this place. Even if you see pictures from transpants, there is no improvement at this place (I must also say that hair in this area grow in different angle than hair at the rest of scalp), at the "SIDE TEMPLES"...

Has anyone ever experienced such regrowth or at least maintaining hair, or have you seen anything like this? I also woder if people use minoxidil at this area too? Perhaps it is hardest area to recover and maintain?

I've almost completely grown that entire area back to the way it was about 8-9 years ago, mostly with minxodil and added finasteride a year ago and it sped things up. My forehead has a completely different shape than it did a couple years ago, even 6 months ago now that I think about it. I didn't even realize I had lost that much on the sides.

The area in the yellow circle is ACTUALLY the temples, the red box is just the corner of your hairline, so to speak.

I am currently applying it to the yellow circle as thats where most of my loss is. I think im starting to diffuse a little though; my whole hair texture changed greatly in the last year.

Why would anyone worry to much about loss in the yellow region? If you are receding and you still have a good amount of hair in the yellow region that will make the recession appear much larger.

Have you never heard of the triangle theory? If you lose the hair in the yellow region so that it runs straight up and down your balding process is probably about done. Ask Bryan for a further explanation

the yellow doesnt matter so much. Look at leonardo dicaprio and others. All that matters in the red. As long as that is strong, noone looks at the temples..however its when the red area begins to thin out that you look like your receding.

That is so true. When I first noticed it was coming in I actually thought the corners were receding farther back. I almost sh*t. Only on closer inspection did I realize that it was that bottom hair filling in creating the illusion. Still it looks better now that the rest is filling in too.

Yes, but usually sides are place where you can see your hairline very clearly so if it is thin there, you will see that. If you recede here and your sides go backwards, you will have wider forehead and from side you look also like you have bigger face.

I usually see older man with enough hair and still pretty firm hairline that have temples gone. Matt Damon has receded hairline little bit, but his temples are really empty if you look at this picture he lost here really much and his hairline, which is pretty back right now, looks very thin in this area. Even Brad Pitt with somehow perfect hairline lost hair at his temples on sides as you can see at this picture. Hair are usually thinner there from nature and it seems (even if someone start with receding hairline, but in general temples are first) that in most cases, these hair disappear at first. You can have firm hairline but receded 1.5 inch at temples. Man 30 and older very rarely (even those with no Androgenetic Alopecia) still original hair at temples on sides.

So this seems most common at the beginning of hairloss and these area seems more difficult to repair. Also, if you check hair transplants, now one ever transplant hair at this place, they mostly fix your hairline to its original place but not at temples.

There is also picture of me and as you can see, hairline is still firm but temples should be where is red line....and this area seems most difficult to repair to me, I have really seen fixed hairline but not to much recovere in this area.

P.S. If you wonder which one is Brad and which me, I am the last picture and Brad second

I wish this were true, I haven't had triangles at all for at least 5 years (they were the first thing to go) and I am definitely still going bald.

I also work with a guy who is a full on NW7 and he still has his triangles and he doesn't have any more hair to lose.

I don't think it would be too hard to find other examples that would pour cold water on this theory.

Yeah, that's a pretty lame theory that probably hasn't a shred of evidence to back it. My hair was still coming out in clumps after my "triangles" were gone.
