Is Propecia going to be enough to help me? I was on it for 2 mts before but cause of the outrageous price I stopped, I'm going to be getting Proscar next. I really don't want to get on Rogaine, I'm seriously thinking about Revivogen but I'm not sure yet. My hairline on the left side isn't too bad it doesn't really looked receeded at all however on the right side its starting to get bad and go back into my hair and thru the front of my hair I can easily start to see the scalp behind it on that side and it's starting to get real thin in my opinion, I'm really not losing alot of hair actually, but I think my hair is getting thinner all over. I really want to just get hair restoration in the front where it's getting bad but I'm sure no doctor will do it to me yet. So I'm not sure if Proscar is enough to save me, what do you guys think?

Finasteride is mostly a hair maintenance drug. Some men do get regrowth of varying degrees (mostly slight to moderate).

I recommend you stick with 1.25 proscar for 6months along with Nizoral 2% every other day for the first month followed by every third day there after.

Give it a total of 12months and see where you are. If you feel you need more regrowth then you need minoxidil.

Revivogen is a decent DHT inhibitor and if money is not an option then add it by all means for the extra protection... However, like Finasteride, Revivogen is mostly a maintenance product VS a regrowth one.
