Hi guys

Firstly im sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. I've been wearing the topknot style for about a year now and lately I've Noticed a fair amount of hair falling out in the shower and Im now wondering weather having my hair tied back constantly is causing hair loss. I haven't noticed any change in my front hair line but im not sure weather the area around my crown is just a natural parting or signs of balding. Would be grateful for any advice

Thanks

Possibly a natural parting. It's normal to see some hair in the drain after showering and unless your hair is being tied back extremely tight then it wouldn't be causing hairloss, even though it may seem like it since the top knot trend died in 2014. :p

Partings reveal true Hair density. It looks lower density towards your crown. It may just be hair whorl or maybe early thinning.
If your hair feels thick in the back and sides but thinner on the top and front then it's probably male pattern baldness, if it's the same all over then you're fine
