Is my loss that bad?

I've been bad with keeping up treatments and I'd like to post some pictures and let other people see if it's bad. When I use thickening gel, it helps a lot.

Thanks!

On second thought, how do I paste pictures on my post?

What is your age? It's not too bad, stick to your regimen, get an oral antiandrogen (if you are healthy enough for it) and you will be fine.

BTW, comb your hair forward so that it will hide any thinning.

I'm near 23. I don't have a bald spot in the back thankfully. What types of anti-androgens can I get? Any good sites? Thanks Tainted Meat.

Thickening Gel like Thicker Fuller Hair works for me.

I use genuine Avodart from the pharmacy. However, I get it for $10.50 a month because my mom is a nurse and I am still covered by insurance. I am not sure where you can get cheap dutasteride, but you NEED to get finasteride or dutasteride because it will help to slow your hairloss or regrow your hair. finasteride or dutasteride is an essential part of any hair-saving regimen because it blocks DHT.

I'll see if I can get finasteride soon.

Good idea, remember that you can cut Proscar into 4ths or get generic online.

here is what i think... unlike other mates.. im very straight up and honest? whatever you wanna call it. but if you are 23 and your hair situation is like that.. that's pretty bad dude.. dont get me wrong.. im same age as you and im suffering from male pattern baldness too. if you haven't started any treatment, go ahead and do so (im waiting for my finasteride batch too!) but if it doesn't go well as we all wish, i would just shave it down and give it up.. happily go bald. my advice is that dont put so much hope into this treatment thing.. for some it works but its more for maintaining altho lotta people regrew their hair back it seems like as soon as they get off it, all the hair starts to fall down. all im saying is just that you should be able to go bald like a man if this treatment doesnt work.. this should be just another option we can try before..i'll post my pic soon.. good luck man

I think I have to agree with Templemonk. Your hair loss looks pretty bad to me. Sorry to say it like it is. When I saw your pictures I though were quite a few years older than 23. I think you should rather go for dutasteride than finasteride, since you hair loss seems rather agressive.

Good Luck

you are a NW4. But you still have enough hairs to use toppik if you want.

I think you can regrow some of that with a strong enough regimen. Propecia will just keep what you have.

check out my links. I've updated my web site.

not good man.. it's not good at all. I would buzz it down short if i were you, the only way your hair would be acceptable at it's state now is if you were like 50 years old.. not 23 brother.

buzz it down, get a tan.

Yeah, I thought it was bad. Since it's aggressive, HM might not have a chance getting it back? I'm going to get Crinagen from the website here.

Get on finasteride as soon as possible or, if you´re willing to face greater chances of side effects, try dutasteride (0.5mg) 3 times a week. and as college said, add spironolactone, prox-n, folligen, and whatever u can to try to regrow some of your hair. lastly, try the scalp exercises from the link below, good luck!

scalp exercises? I don't believe it. Except for minoxidil, drugs that dialate scalp blood vessels do not affect baldness. Minoxidil probably works by a different mechanism. All the hanging upside down in the 80's did not work either.

Some said HM might not work. Does that mean HM only works if you have some hair? Please explain.

I meant by HM not working if I have aggressive baldness. I know there's the chance it might not work.

Yea, its pretty bad, but you could totally pull off the bald look.

So in that case, its not "that" bad :p
