My name is Jake and I'm 18. I don't know if I'm just going crazy or something but recently I've been monitoring my hair because it looks like it is thinning. My grandpa on my mom side was a little bald when he was older though. I have Images bellow. Can please someone give me a answer it will help me a lot.

It does not look like you are losing hair according to those photos, but if you think you are thinning then maybe you could be. Is your maternal grandpa your only relative who lost any hair?
Yes he was the only one in my family but only some of it when he got older. But my mothers brother has a full set of hair

Given your family history, it is very unlikely you'd be losing hair at your age, and chances are that you'll likely keep a full head of hair all your life. There's also no evidence of hair loss from the photos you posted, although if you could post pictures of your crown and the top of your head, it would give us more information to go on.

Hairline looks fine brother, pictures of your crown would help for a better assessment. My advice for now is to just keep an eye on it. Take photos from the same angles every 3-6months and If you notice any change then come back for advice.

It doesn't look like you have any hair loss. Considering there's very little hair loss in your family history, I don't think you have much to worry about. As the other poster said, try not to worry or obsess about it.
