Is My Hairline Receding At 21 Years Old?

Hi guys,

Please help! In 21 and worried my hairline might be receding already. I've always had pretty thin hair. I've attached some pictures.

Looks like it is in the early stages, also looks like your hairline is thinning as well. Crown looks fine for someone with your hair type though

Do you think I need to do anything? I believe it could be caused by stress after having a stressful year. If so, will it grow back?

Stress can make your hair fall out, sure, but not just the hair above each temple. It'd be all over or in random patches.

Id say you've definitely got a little recession for your age, and at 21 you will probably get more as years go by.

My hairline was like yours in my early 20s and my progression was very, very slow. I'm about a Norwood 3 vertex and I'm 44.

I think you should just relax and watch your hairline for a few years, then maybe get on finasteride if you get any more recession.
