Hey guys, I am fifteen years old. I feel as if I am balding like crazy (don't know if its just paranoia). But honestly does my hairline looks healthy, in the shower yesterday, I lost 15+ hairs. My father is bald, my uncles are bald. They all starts balding in their mid-twenties. Will I be bald too?

Damn, does this seem temporary because of high hormone levels or what?
My hair usually only falls out when I brush it too hard. Yesterday was the first time I really took serious notice.

You need to take better pics from the side and front from a little further away. Theres no way to really tell from that pic but it looks like some miniaturized hairs in your hairline but it could also just be your baby hairs as your hairline is stil bery close to nw1 it looks like.

As a fellow young person going through this crap. My advice would be start treating it now. Looking at the picture and your family history, chances are you're balding.

And your very young to start balding I would not stress and come back in six months if you really think its getting worse, a normal person sheds 100+ hairs a day, its not about whats falling out but whats growing back

I would definetly not jump on a treatment, please take better pictures first.

Yes, I've had a cowslick there for a while, but its pushed up very slightly.

At the moment I want to rule out family history.
I think it is most likely my diet or stress.
I have a lot of exam stress which is a known cause. Also my diet consists of a lot of sugar and fats.
I am planning on reducing my sugar and fat intakes in the up coming weeks.

Plus, my father and uncles lost their hair in their later lives. Not a fifteen years old. They lost it in their late 20's or early 30's.

My only balding relative(my uncle), started losing his early 50s. I'm currently 17 with a nw2(pretty bad)
