[More photos attached in 2nd post]

Hey all, please bear with me! I'll be 28 this year and I'm worried that I'm thinning on top? Would really appreciate if I could get an opinion. Most of the photos were taken directly under a pretty bright down-light, so I'm not sure if that extra exposure over-emphasises things, but nevertheless....

The main area of concern is the crown but I have taken a bunch of photos to give a more complete picture of things to hopefully give you guys a better idea! Please check out all the photos as I'd really like to show the full picture :)

Crown There's a number of photo's here but would really appreciate if you could look at them all to get a better idea of how it looks.

last one maybe high exposure under the light? idk..

I've been told by a couple people it looks fine and I'm being silly, and the dermo had a "wait and see" approach since I was apprehensive about jumping straight onto finasteride. I visited the dermo last month and 6 months prior, both times they just took a photo of my hair part. When they compared photos from last month and 6 months ago the dermo said she didn't notice any progression, but I'm sitting there thinking "I can take photo's myself! Aren't there scientific tests you can do to actually give me a better answer of whether I'm balding/thinning??" I digress.
I've been given mixed opinions online before - some saying "its thinning, could be DPA" others saying it looks fine. I would greatly appreciate a second opinion since I don't really find the opinion of my girlfriend saying "you're fine" that reliable or informative, haha !

Maybe I'm being paranoid - if so, yay! If not, I am prepared to take action.

Shedding: This is the kind of shedding I'm seeing daily when i shake or lightly pull my hair for 10-30 seconds. Can do this multiple times a day. Showing on my desk and in the bathroom basin. Is that normal?

Looks fine to me, you can jump on a low dose of finasteride just in case.
Thank you kindly for the prompt response!

I guess its just a bit concerning since I can often see my scalp in general and when styling I have to flick my hair around sometimes to "hide" it..... and when I hold a mirror up to the back of it where the "swirl" is, I can see the scalp a bit more than I feel is "right". As in it looks a bit like the area around the "swirl" is thinning as well as on top.

Not sure, but I will take your opinion on board, thanks again!

Any other opinions are most welcomed :)

Haha, okay will do !! Can I just confirm, how do you think my swirl is looking now? Like you said before, fine? Or is it looking a bit iffy?

And sorry for pestering you further, but is my kind of shedding normal? I asked a friend to shake his hair for 5-10 seconds and he said only about 4 or 5 hairs dropped out :/

Thanks again !

hair looks good tbh, if you are worried you could jump on lower dosage of finasteride just in case, but for now i dont think you should worry about it

hair is almost perfect now, but if you are worried take propecia as a preventive measure and leave this place forever .Or don't take propecia and keep worrying .
