Trying to stay in line with the HairLossTalk.com forum slang and was noticing while watching Dre Drexler's videos that he's a strong NW2. I feel like in this particular video you can even see his density has even suffered. This is coming from someone who has watched his videos over the past few years and hence has been able to evaluate such changes. He's about 23 if I recall correctly.

So what do you guys think, is Dre Drexler's density and hairline at the come on home stage?

Looks like a gorgeous head of hair. Not sure how that is NW2. Better hair than I had at this age that is for sure. If that is his girlfriend, he can do better.

He's an NW1.5 at worst.

He should get on finasteride if he hasn't already. Fairly solid hairline though. Nothing to worry about imo, so long as he can maintain it.

Yeah it's definitely an option. Of course some people are going to be infuriated and thinking he has no hair loss simply because he has thick hair and a good hairline but his temples have obviously been going over the years, this video and his Johnny Depp Pompadour tutorial video are good evidence of that.

I'm assuming that youtube channel is his job. If so, then he should do whatever it takes to preserve his hair even though he only has a relatively small amount of recession.

Can you suffer from BDD even when it comes to other people? That guy has godly hair.

No he's not, look carefully. Look at his old videos. His hairline is blatantly different. If he's an NW1 in that video in the original post then I'm an NW0 which doesn't exist. I also never said he didn't have a perfect head of hair, his density is still good (albeit worse than in the past) and his hairline is solid. He does have recession though, don't turn a blind eye to that. Don't confuse BDD with attention to detail.

This video got removed from YouTube as he no longer works for Slikhaar TV anymore but I found it on DailyMotion, it's from 2011.

he just has it styled differently, if he slicked it back aggressively like in that first video it would probably look the same. Trust me, I was seeing hairloss where it didnt exist as well when I first became aware of it. I though guys with temple points were losing hair

So, trying to follow your logic here, if you go from having a rounded hairline at 17 and then progress to having temple points when you're 21, you aren't losing hair?

He just has his hair combed forward. Anyway, who cares? If it's the kind of "loss" that bothers you, you're way too obsessive.

NW1 until NW3 is mostly fine, it won't completely screw your aesthetics, and sometimes even improve your appearance.

A lot of people on this forum suffer from harsh diffuse loss and are beyond NW3. You're kind of insulting them if this is what you see as hair loss.

He seems very young, so even if there is something, and there is not, it's just a mature hair line. NW1.5 at worst as hellouser said.

I'm glad you didn't post this in the "Impact of hair loss" section.

Pertaining to the bolded text, this is kind of true, someone recently told me "now that you're getting older you're starting to look less like Andrew Garfield and more like Ewan McGregor" I was assuming this was due to my changing hairline.

I didn't mean this as an insult, it's just ever since I started to lose hair myself I have indeed become obsessed with figuring out what is Androgenetic Alopecia and what isn't. I mean no offence.

Don't worry Fred, I know you well enough to know not to make the fatal mistake of posting such a thread in the wrong section ;)

Losing hair as in male pattern baldness? no.

So he may have what's considered a "mature hairline"?

I also prefer my transplanted hair line (NW2.5) to my original, which has kind of always been a NW2.

Talk about starting with a disadvantage even before DPA hit me.

When I see older pictures of me with a shaved head, it just looks too rounded and "childish".

Yeah I'm starting to notice the same, it's not bad eh. My old hairline definitely made me look more like a boy, as the days go by I'm definitely starting to prefer my current hairline. Especially so after that recent compliment.
