is it safe to buy hair loss products from eBay?

the cheapest rogaine foam I could find was on eBay.
I fear rogaine I buy there might be fake or even dangerous to my hair.
are my fears justified ? do you buy stuff like that on eBay?

I bought Regaine on ebay but then again it didn't work for me so i don't know if it was real or fake. generally the more expensive a product costs consumers, the more likely it is that there will be a counterfeit market for it. Just make sure your seller has good feedback and lots of it!!
