Is It Possible That Minoxidill Foam Made My Hair Even Thinner? [22]

Hey guys,
I'v started using generic minoxidill foam 5% (KIrkland) 2 months ago.
I'v noticed that I have a new balding spot, close to the left temple.
My temples are bald that's obvious, but I had a pretty thick hair in the middle of the scalp and now it's getting thinner.

I can see through the hair and it never been like that before the treatment.

Is it the minoxidill ?
I'm applying it twice a day. Trying to do it every 12 hours.

I don't take fina(yet) cuz my plan is work only with minoxidill for the next 4-5 years because my sides are great and i'm still young, and then hop on the fina.

Yes, you are on the shedding phase right now. Don't panic tho, that just means the stuff is working. But based on my experience, you might regret it in the long run if you use minoxidil without a dht blocker like finas. Minoxidil, that stuff works but without dht blocker, you will lose what you gain through time. Happened to me and it had me depressed. I thought back then I found a solution in minoxidil but it came to a point that it no longer gives me results coz dht and my male pattern baldness/genes caught up with it, and it's exhausting to keep up with it as months go by. You will see some baby colorless hairs growing on your temple with minoxidil, but that stuff won't thicken if dht goes higher and higher as time goes by. Finasteride is what gave me unbelievable results. With minoxidil, I'm gaining more and more results. It's your call though

I read some horrible stories about fina.. lots of sexsuall sides and damages your semen production.. I dont wanna fck my dick for the rest of my life at 22 years old lol.

Minoxidil foam caused constant shedding for me, even on the sides and back. I would just continue with it. I have taken .5mg/day of Propecia and have had no side effects (for a month).

I think i'll start taking fina as well.. because few guys told me that I won't be able to restore my hairline only with minoxidil
