Is it okay to keep the split proscar in the pill cutter? Moisture? Will it go bad?

Hey guys,

Been on Proscar 1.25mg every other day, and when I split my pill into quarters, I keep the pieces in the pill cutter away from sunlight. Does moisture or anything damage the rest of the pills? Or have I been doing it wrong?

Just put it into a old pill container if you don't have one.

I keep mine in a small plastic air tight bag and then fold that into a pill cutter (super cheap bags from amazon). That may be over the top.

Just make sure you have a dry surface and dry hands when cutting and handling the finasteride and it will be fine.

i break my pills and leave them in a drawer... sometimes i wrap my split pill up in paper and bring it out with me and then take it on the way home.. as long as ur not breaking pieces off the pill i dont really see a problem in where you would keep it.
