Hi all,

I have diffuse thinning all over my scalp.

I just applied my first dose of minoxodil today. I have a question though.

I applied it using the dropper applicator on different parts of my head. I then rubbed it in so that all areas of my scalp took in the liquid.

I then washed my hands with soap after I was finished.

Is this the correct technique? Or should you just be ussing the dropper?

You can't really use your hands to "rub it in".

But you can use your hands to spread it around.

I do this myself, it works fine in my opinion.

Yes using your finger tips to move the solution around will not harm you. Just remember to wash your hands afterwards. As you do not want to spread Minoxidil to others especially women who may be pregnant.

Plus no one wants really hairy knuckles on one hand vs the other.

If your mother sees it, she'll probably be in a state of shock, and tell you: "I told you what would happen if you don't stop doing a certain something!" :)
