Is It Normal For Semen That Was Watery To Go To Back To Normal While On Finasteride?

About 3 months into generic 1 mg finasteride my semen became clear and watery, I was alright with that because I thought it meant it was working. A month later, I switched to 1.25 generic proscar to save money. Now I'm at 6 months and my semen is back to normal. Is this a bad thing? Like could this mean the 1.25 isn't working as well as the 1 mg? Or is my body just getting used to it? I really don't want to pay more but I'm a little concerned that this means it isn't working as well.

Watery semen is not a sign that it is working or not working. It is just a side effect that most people get on finasteride. If your semen isn't watery there is nothing to worry about. I actually think most people's semen returns to normal after a period of time on finasteride.

Okay that's really good to hear. It was just concerning me because I'd be pretty upset if making the switch to save cash turned out to be a mistake.
