I am 22 year old guy, thinning on the crown, i've been recommended by a hairstylist to try intragen 5 patches, but i'm also thinking of trying rogaine, since people say it works better on the crown and on the top which happens to be my case.


Does anyone know if intragen works or not though? what do you think is the most adequate?

Wtf, patches for hair loss?! Most probably your hairstylist is uneducated moron...
Yes, essential to stop, but usually not enough for regrowth, therefore you need Minoxidil.

Can that regrowth be sustainable when you quit minoxidil but keep taking finasteride?

It is essential to even hope to slow it down long term, yet alone reverse it.

Until now, inhibiting DHT is the only thing that is available that has good results. Future treatments may be able to interfere with the balding process further along in the chain of events than the initial stage where the DHT binds to the androgen receptor.
