Is it effective to use Nizoral + Propecia without minoxidil?

I currently only use Propecia and want to add more to my regimen but don't want to get the facial swelling from minoxidil. Can I add Nizoral and see more benefits without using minoxidil as well?

I'm on the exact same course as you , yeah it should be effective if you want to keep the hair you have and see minimal regrowth or maybe more. nizoral will stop the inflammation (itch) . minoxidil would be a good topical to use if you want to see a larger amount of regrowth , but its only lasts for so long.

Either Nizoral is having an adverse affect on my hair, or finally minoxidil has decided not to work at all...

I too need to hear from more people on finasteride + nizoral combo for a year or more. I was on minoxidil for about a year and i have posted in other threads about this.

I am aware that not all people experience the same symptoms when on minoxidil but after applying minoxidil overnight, the next morning i would wake up with a heavy head (slight headache), swollen face, dark circles.

The last 3-4 months were particulary bad with dark circles getting darker and headaches getting worse (although i was only applying minoxidil once in the night).

Just crossing my fingers and hoping there are people out there who have regrown some hair with finasteride + nizoral + supplement - minoxidil

What do you mean it only lasts for so long? Does it fall out after some time or just stop regrowing new hair?

You have to keep using it , which is a hassle and also means you need to keep your hair short. I've also heard that it only works for 2-3 years.
