I have diffuse thinning and it seems receding hairlines are more prevalent for balding men. Are hair loss medicines more effective to either one or is there no difference?
Baldness treatments work for both diffused thinning and a receding hairline. For whatever reason, maintaining/regrowing hair at the front is more difficult than the mid-scalp and vertex.
I guess recovering would be easier for a diffuse thinner. But I don't really got any proof for that. People usually mention how hard it is to regrow the temples, so alot of people don't have much success there. However, a diffuse thinner still got hair on most parts of the scalp which can thicken up.
My hairline fades from moderately dense to nothing in around 0.5cm. Can that area fill in and can there be growth even further out from just using Dutasteride?
