Is being one shade off in color a big deal when purchasing a system?

I received a color ring from Lavivid and I am a perfect match with 1C, a darker black but not jet black. However they don't bleach knots on it for the Ares I want to get, however they bleach knots on the 1B which is ever so slightly lighter. Bleached knots is important for the hairline so I am thinking of going for their 1B, and I can only notice a difference if I take a deep look between the two.

Is it a big deal really being a shade off?

I tried a #5 (medium brown) and then a #6 (slightly lighter than medium brown, like ash blonde) after that, and the difference was only very subtle in reality. If they don't have your preferred colour, go for something slightly lighter as it can always be dyed darker, but it's harder to lighten a hair system than to darken it. I doubt it'll cause a major issue with colour matching/blending with your bio hair. Why not try it and see.
