Is all hairloss caused by DHT?

Regular male pattern baldness is caused by elevated/sensitiveness to DHT.

But what about for example stress or hormone-releated hairloss? Do they also cause elevated or sensitiveness to DHT, or do that hairloss work by a different mechanism?

The other cases the follicles just kick the hairs out, there's no miniaturization unless you also have male pattern baldness then it's one less hair cycle since the follicles shrink at each cycle.

Just normal aging, for both sexes, causes hairloss. Our older bodies don't regenerate like we used to (skin, nails, hair, etc..).

It is does not all come down to DHT with the other types of hair loss. Hair follicles can be sensitive to all kinds of stuff going on in your body. If you look at the causes of alopecia areata, you will see that cells of your immune system who start to attack the hair follicles out of some reason is the reason for this type of hair loss. In other cases, you hair follicles do not get enough nutrients to maintain the hair growth and they start to fall out...
