Hello everyone,

General Introduction + Family History

20 years old, athletic build, south asian (means lots of body hair, explain why this could mean something after)

Father - went bald in his 30's, lived a stressful life along with an unhealthy lifestyle (hairless began around 25 and was full bald by 34)
Uncle (Fathers Brother) - also bald in his 30's unsure of when his started
Paternal Grandfather - had small tufts of hair in his 60s and 70s (may have been a combover) Passed away (God Rest His Soul)

Maternal Grandfather - receded to NW4 or NW5 but still has hair in his 60s, recession was slow and began in his mid 30s from what I know
Maternal Uncle - Very little if no hairless, solid hairline just graying

Now I have a somewhat stressful lifestyle and am sometimes a chronic procrastinator, as a result it involves me having quite a large number of commitments and not enough time to handle them all, also have a short temper and get frustrated easily, work out 3-4 days a week and have a decent build with what I would say high level of testosterone (dense body hair, dense facial hair)

This is all just background detail

Now all of this started maybe 8 months ago when my friend jokingly told me that my father went bald and I'm eventually going to go bald as well. Got me somewhat concerned and thus began my journey

All throughout childhood, thickest hair I have ever seen on any man. I mean that as I had a very very tough time wringing a comb through it and almost always needed to thin my hair out at the stylists. I have not receded much if at all, slight miniaturization at temples but my hairline and widows peak (natural) are solid. NW0.5 - NW1 at most, no round U shape the forehead makes,

Heres what worries me - i started using some styling products (pomade, wax) and i would routinely yank out some hairs during the styling process (think slick backs, pompadour looks, undercuts) and I never really noticed nor cared to look for hair in the shower --- just occasionally the comb I would use would have hair entangled in it from the styling.

I also had very heavy dandruff as a child, didn't bother trying to combat it but did use nizoral 2% occasionally to settle it down, wore my hair short as well. Nowadays the dandruff is still there along with an itch that comes and goes at the crown and on one portion of my head where I can feel flakes.

Currently, whenever I shower I will always find some loose hairs on my hand, if I am shampooing or ruffling my hair roughly I will after about a minute or so I will see 15-20 hairs accumulated. It is driving me insane and ruffling through my hair just generally may produce the odd hair or two.

I got my hair thinned the last haircut and maybe I am being paranoid after that but I feel as though I just see more of my scalp and my hair has thinned on the top.

Any advice would be greatly and thank you for reading this mountain of personal vent.

Post pictures of your crown and hairline. If you're super paranoid just monitor it or go do a derm for a piece of mind.
