Sorry if this specific study has been posted before but I just found it and thought it was pretty crazy.

https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/exd.12339

Increasing IGF‐1, IGFBP‐4 and IGFBP‐6 could produce positive results?

Now I have seen studies that say "high IGF-1 is linked to hairloss" however these are taken from blood samples and not the dermal papilla cells which could be important.

Pretty sure needling increases IGF-1 production.

Thoughts?

They only applied it for <40 days and then stopped the application. Using any 'proven' hairloss treatment for that amount of time will also produce no results. The chose the 40 day period based on rats response.
