Initial scars/redness stays for how long?

If I got an hair transplant for the front of my scalp, how long would there be redness? I'm wondering about how long I wouldn't be able to/wouldn't want to go in public or to work.

there will be some pinkness for about 2 months. The crusts will be gone in about 3 weeks. One thing I like about my job is I can go to work looking how I want.

Yeah what CCS said, my redness took about 3 months to be unnoticeable but I was lucky as I was able to cover the transplanted area with existing hair.

The redness or inflammation only lasts for several days for "most patients" however some such as the ones posting here can last for several weeks and even months. It can vary between patients.
