The author states that autoimmunity is a major factor in male pattern baldness. If this were true, you might be able to treat it with immune modulator drugs like elidel and protopic. However, autoimmunity is the hallmark of alopecia areata, a totally different disease/problem.
Notice that the new research drug which he so desperately wants to get is a topical DHT inhibitor, not an immunosuppressant.
