Increasing dosage of finasteride can cause a shed?

A month or so ago I switched from propecia to proscar - got this stuff on a prescription so no doubting it's authenticity. I can't always be bothered with the fiddling around and the namby pampy of cutting the stuff into perfect 4's so some days will just chuck half of the pill down my throat, thus receiving a 2.5mg dose, other days one of the quarters will be a bit bigger then the others so I get say 1.75mg and of course even if I cut perfectly I'm still receiving a bigger dose then what I was on previously.
Like when I first started on propecia, my semen is very watery again.

However my hair has got a LOT worse. My hairline looks like it's back to it's old receding ways and my crown is on the verge of slick bald

I'm trying not to worry so is there a chance this could just be a shed??

hmm have not happened to me... so .. i dont really know any other storys that say that higher dosage damaged the hair.
But its better for youre internal hormone balance to stick with a regular dosage.
Could be that some of youre hair is getting, sensetive to the increase of Testosterone.
maibe it will change again.. GL

I doubt it, I tend to do the same as you. I started with propecia for a full year and got exactly 1mg per dose, then switched to proscar and I cut it in thirds though some times I get more than 2mg per dose.

Great... that's me fucked then

The only other possible reasons for me shedding are 1) started Nourkrin a month ago (lol) and 2) been sorta on off with Revita which I really want to work but it makes me lose hair like a biatch!
