Increased libido

I take .5mg of finasteride daily @ night and I think I'm experiencing increased libido.....but I'm sure it hasn't decreased. What does this mean?[/i]

Dude.. The EXACT same thing happened to me! Don't worry it will go down again in a few weeks :-( Sad really.. I was batting off like, 5 times a day (unemployed at the time, very lonely, just got back from travelling, wasn't pulling chicks because of my hair complex, etc..)..

I THINK there is a big spike in testosterone when you first start taking finasteride.. I think..

My libido dropped dramatically about 1 month into finasteride, when it came back it came back. :shock:
It all seems to have levelled out now, I expect it to fluctuate in the future, you should too.

Yeah I too had a bit of an increase. I personally pin point it to me feeling good about myself that I'm actually doing something about the hairloss and not totally on finasteride, though I could be wrong.
