Increase finasteride or switch to dutasteride?

I am on the ropes on whether to increase my finasteride intake which is at 1 mg everyday or switch to dutasteride? Can anyone with experience or knowledge on it give me some advice? I've been taking finasteride for almost a year now and started minoxidil a month ago. Was hoping a more aggressive regimen will increase positive results.

I would try increasing your finasteride dosage, if you're truly not having or scared of any side effects, first. dutasteride is heavy duty stuff man. If you're having good results with finasteride (maintaining) don't mess with a good thing. hope that helps!

Finasteride yields a nearly dose-independent response. There is a tiny benefit at best in increasing the dose.

You can either switch to dutasteride, or add something else like RU58841.

Give dutasteride a try. It's not as heavy as people say.
